In the online world, I think that Al Carruth, Mario Proulx, and Bob Taylor are very notable for that same openness (even though the three of them, put in a room together, wouldn't be able to agree on how to build a guitar ).

I also feel a responsibility to help out other builders I meet with information any way I can, although at this time it's just passing on tips from the greats. I completely agree with your reaction, John (Abercrombie).
